ChatGPT Go Service Free: The customer-based service for "ChatGPT Go," an AI tool from Artificial Intelligence (AI) giant OpenAI, launched across India on Tuesday. Indian users who join within a limited period will receive the service free for one year. As part of this promotional campaign, ChatGPT can currently be downloaded from the web or Google Play Store, while it will be available on the Apple App Store next week.

What OpenAI's Vice President Says
Nick Turley, Vice President and Head of ChatGPT at OpenAI, said, "The acceptance and creativity we've seen from our users since the initial launch of ChatGPT Go in India a few months ago has been inspiring." Turley added, "We're making 'ChatGPT Go' available for free for one year so that more people across India can easily access and benefit from advanced AI."
The offering is part of IndiaFirst.
Existing 'ChatGPT Go' customers in India can also benefit from 12 months of free access. OpenAI said in a statement, "This promotion is part of OpenAI's 'IndiaFirst' commitment and supports the IndiaAI mission. It strengthens the growing momentum for AI in India."
